Big decision of Bihar government, great news for the villagers

Patna.Bihar government has taken an important initiative to give a new direction to rural development. Now major schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, cleanliness campaign, self-employment and rural employment will be monitored through digital medium. For this, the state government has launched the Centralized Rural Planning Monitoring and Implementation Monitoring System (CGRM) portal.

Information about schemes will be available sitting at home

Now rural citizens will not have to visit different government offices to get information about any scheme. Through the new portal, people will be able to get information about various government schemes at one place. This will save time and make it easier for people to access the schemes.

Facility to lodge complaint will also be available

The biggest feature of the new digital system is that rural citizens will also be able to register their complaints online. If there is a delay in getting the benefits of any scheme or any kind of problem arises, then people will be able to directly convey their views to the administration through the portal. This is expected to make the process of resolving complaints more effective.

Special focus on schemes related to the poor

Many such schemes are operated under the Rural Development Department which are directly related to the poor and needy families. Programs related to housing, employment, sanitation and livelihood play an important role in improving rural living standards. The aim of the government is that the benefits of these schemes should reach the genuinely eligible people without any hindrance.

Digital surveillance will increase accountability

Experts believe that online monitoring of schemes will increase the accountability of officials and concerned agencies. Records of the progress, number of beneficiaries and implementation status of any scheme will be available in digital form. This will also help in curbing irregularities.

AI technology will also be used in the future

The government plans to further modernize this portal. In future, Artificial Intelligence (AI) based features can be added to it, so that the redressal of complaints, data analysis and monitoring of schemes can be made more effective.

Rural development will get new momentum

Starting monitoring of schemes through digital platform will accelerate rural development work. This will strengthen the communication between the government and the public and the benefits of the schemes will reach the needy people in a more transparent manner.
