Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna’s ‘Ikka’ to get special fan screenings ahead of Netflix release

Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna are currently riding high on recent successes.

Sunny’s career got a real boost thanks to the blockbuster run of Bridge 2 and Jaat turned out to be a decent grosser while Border 2 was a huge hit and that pretty much showed that Gadar 2’s success wasn’t just a one time thing.

On the other hand Akshaye Khanna went to another zone with his performance as Rehman Dakait in Dhurandhar. Now both of these stars will finally share the screen in Ikka.

The movie drops straight on Netflix on July 10 though some lucky fans should still be able to catch it on the big screen at least once.

A Twitter handle LegendDeols on June 19 revealed that fan screenings of the film will be held on July 8 across 3 to 4 cities in two days before the release.

The handle also went ahead and asked the fans to show interest in that post so that they can get the tickets for this screening.

A source told us, “The makers are indeed planning to show Ikka to fans on the big screen. However, the July 8 date is not locked. A decision will be taken in the coming days.”

The source further said, “Ikka is a commercial film and watching it on the big screens in the presence of excited fans amid hoots and whistles will be truly an experience to cherish.”
