Ayodhya. The Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear immediately the petition related to the allegations of alleged theft of offerings in the Ram Temple and alleged misuse of funds of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The court asked the petitioner why there is such a hurry in this matter? Will the sky be broken if the hearing is held later? The court said that currently summer vacation is going on. Therefore, regular hearing will be possible only after the vacation is over. In such a situation, the hearing of the case is likely to take place after July 12. This petition has been filed on behalf of advocate Anup Awasthi. The petition has alleged that there have been irregularities in the utilization of the funds of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and the offerings received at the temple.

Demand for CBI investigation in the petition

The petitioner has demanded registration of an FIR in this matter and an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). It has also been requested in the petition that the case should be investigated by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed under the leadership of a CBI officer, so that the entire episode can be investigated impartially and independently. The petitioner says that considering the seriousness of the matter, a detailed investigation is necessary. However, the Supreme Court has not yet commented on the merits of the allegations. The court has simply refused to accept the demand for an urgent hearing. Now after the vacation is over, this petition will be heard before the regular bench.
