With the Brezza facelift, the company is focusing on a powerful and premium look. The spy shots reveal that the car will feature a new front grille, redesigned LED headlamps and taillamps, as well as updated bumpers. Once inside the cabin, you’ll be greeted with a new dashboard layout and premium soft-touch materials. The current 1.5-litre K15C ‘naturally aspirated’ petrol engine (103hp/137Nm) will remain; But the 1.0-litre ‘Boosterjet’ turbo-petrol engine producing 100 bhp is likely to make a comeback in the market. Apart from the 5-speed manual gearbox, new 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options are also likely to be offered. For CNG lovers, the vehicle is likely to feature ‘underbody CNG tank’ technology, which will free up significant space in the ‘boot’ (rear trunk). Talking about the mileage, the petrol variants can offer a mileage of 18–20 kmpl, while the CNG version is likely to offer a mileage of around 25–27 kmpl. Its estimated ‘ex-showroom’ price is expected to be between ₹8.50 lakh and ₹13.50 lakh.
