Design and Interiors
With the Brezza facelift, the company is focusing on a powerful and premium look. The spy shots reveal that the car will feature a new front grille, redesigned LED headlamps and taillamps, as well as updated bumpers. The new alloy wheel design and LED strip attached to it will give the rear of the car a more modern look. Once inside the cabin, you’ll be greeted with a new dashboard layout and premium soft-touch materials. It will feature a new dual-tone color theme and revised seat upholstery, making the cabin feel more airy and luxurious than before.
Features and Safety
Talking about the features, the most significant update is the larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, features like ventilated front seats, digital driver display, electric sunroof, 360-degree camera and wireless charging will help propel this car to the top of its segment. In terms of safety, Maruti is leaving no stone unturned this time. The new Brezza is expected to have safety features like six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) and hill-hold assist. Engine and Mileage
The current 1.5-litre K15C ‘naturally aspirated’ petrol engine (103hp/137Nm) will remain; But the 1.0-litre ‘Boosterjet’ turbo-petrol engine producing 100 bhp is likely to make a comeback in the market. Apart from the 5-speed manual gearbox, new 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options are also likely to be offered. For CNG lovers, the vehicle is likely to feature ‘underbody CNG tank’ technology, which will free up significant space in the ‘boot’ (rear trunk). Talking about the mileage, the petrol variants can offer a mileage of 18–20 kmpl, while the CNG version is likely to offer a mileage of around 25–27 kmpl. Its estimated ‘ex-showroom’ price is expected to be between ₹8.50 lakh and ₹13.50 lakh.
