Symbolic demonstration of BSNL employees demanding third PRC

Lucknow. On Friday, on the call of All Unions and Association of BSNL, employees held a symbolic demonstration in the CGMT Lucknow office premises demanding Third Pay Revision Committee (Third PRC) in the capital Lucknow.

Hundreds of BSNL employees participated in the demonstration and raised their voices regarding their demands. During the demonstration, the organization's provincial secretary Vijay Kumar Singh said that the demand for third PRC has been raised by BSNL employees for a long time, but till now no concrete action has been taken by the management in this direction.

He said that the employees are continuously struggling for their demands and the management should seriously consider the problems of the employees. Vijay Kumar Singh said that if a positive decision is not taken soon on the demands of the employees, then the organization will expand the movement further. He warned that if the demands are not met, there will be statewide demonstrations and agitation.

A large number of BSNL employees including the organization's District Secretary Banarasi Lal, Atul Singh, Dinesh Gautam, Virendra Ram, Satish Kumar and Tilak Raj were present in the demonstration. The employees united and registered their protest regarding the demand for the third PRC and demanded immediate action from the management.
