T20 League: 13 year old bowler won purple cap, Vaibhav Suryavanshi had orange cap on his head at the age of 15

Swara was the youngest signed player of this league. But there was no lack of experience anywhere in his performance on the field. She took her team out of difficult situations by taking wickets continuously and was among the most effective bowlers of the tournament.

Interestingly, Swara equaled her team captain and Indian player Sayali Satghare by taking 10 wickets. Both players jointly took the highest number of wickets in the tournament. Swara’s entire campaign was brilliant. He bowled at an excellent economy rate of 4.49, which is considered very impressive for any bowler in T20 cricket.

He started with figures of 1/19 against Thane Sky Risers. After this he left his mark by taking match-winning bowling of 3/19 against Akash Tigers MWS. He then quickly moved up the wicket list by registering figures of 2/12 against Akash Tigers and 2/22 against Thane Sky Risers.

Swara did not disappoint even in the final match. In the title match against Akash Tigers MWS, he took 2 wickets for 14 runs. Thanks to his important spell, Sobo Mumbai Falcons won by 25 runs and won the first title of T20 Mumbai Women’s League.

After the tournament, Swara credited captain Sayali Satghare for her success. He said that the captain always supported him on and off the field and advised him to remain calm in every situation.

Swara said that she did not feel any pressure during the entire tournament. His goal was only to contribute to the team. He also expressed his gratitude to the franchise, his parents, coaches, teachers and teammates. This kind of performance at the age of 13 shows that Indian women’s cricket has got a big star of the future.
