Abhijeet Deepke lashed out at PM Modi

Taking on the central government, Abhijit Deepke said, “Prime Minister, please accept the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, otherwise the matter will come to your resignation as well. The situation is going in the same direction as your actions are… Listen to the students of the country. An incompetent and failed minister cannot be more important than crores of students of this country. If a minister is more important for the government than these youth, then remember that none of them will give you even a single vote in the coming elections.” Will not vote.”

He further said that it took full 34 days for the Prime Minister to pay attention to this protest and react on social media. The government may try to act ignorant, but the reality is that it is completely nervous from inside. There was not a single tweet from the country’s Prime Minister when more than 20 youth committed suicide, and there was silence even when Sonam Wangchuk risked her life and sat on a fast. Deepke said that today is the 26th day of Sonam Wangchuk’s fast, but the government still remains completely indifferent.

‘Jantar Mantar has been made a war zone’

Talking about the conditions at the protest site, the CJP chief said that the situation at Jantar Mantar has been made as if it is a war zone. There neither anyone’s phones are working properly nor people are able to use the internet. He sarcastically said that if the government had worked as hard in stopping paper leaks as it has done in installing jammers, deploying heavy police force and erecting barricades, then today the precious lives of many youth of the country could have been saved.

‘Connaught Place shops will be closed’

Taking his point further, Deepke warned that even though the government is bent on bringing the entire Delhi to a standstill, this movement of the youth is not going to stop. He said that Narendra Modi is ready to close the entire capital, but is not ready to remove his favorite minister Dharmendra Pradhan. No matter how many restrictions the government imposes, this spark has now spread across the country from Delhi to Mumbai, Jaipur, Madhya Pradesh, Chennai and Bangalore.
