‘Take it in writing, we will defeat BJP-Modi’, announces Rahul Gandhi
Senior Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi made a big announcement on Friday and said that only Congress can defeat Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country. He also predicted that no other party in the country can defeat BJP. This statement of former Congress President Rahul has come at a time when on May 4, Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress has lost the assembly elections in West Bengal and MK Stalin’s DMK party has lost in Tamil Nadu.
This statement of Rahul Gandhi is in a way a warning to BJP and a mirror to the opposition parties. He also said that no matter how much Prime Minister Modi ‘steals votes’, Congress will defeat him. Rahul Gandhi had participated in the ‘Sadbhav Yatra’ of Haryana Congress leader Brijendra Singh on Friday. During this, Rahul said, ‘BJP stole the elections in Haryana… now they have stolen the elections in West Bengal and Assam. They have created a system to steal elections.

He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has controlled the Election Commission and bureaucracy. Because the public has understood that Narendra Modi and Amit Shah work to sell the country.
Referring to the Sadbhav Yatra, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘Our leaders have understood the pulse of Haryana. He went among the public and got to know their issues closely. I think that every young leader of the Congress Party should undertake such a journey in every state. Travels increase political understanding, connect with the public and one learns a lot.
He said that this journey has a message that India will not run with hatred and violence, but only with love.
