Mumbai : Acting President of the Bolivian Republic of Venezuela, Delsey Rodríguez, had a goodwill meeting with senior executives of the Tata Group at Bombay House. President Delsey Rodrigues inspected the new electric vehicles of Tata Motors at Bombay House.

On behalf of the Tata Group of Tata Motors Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Girish Wagh, as well as senior officials welcomed President Delsey Rodriguez. On this occasion, President Delsey Rodrigues had a detailed discussion with the senior executives of Tata Group about modern and advanced technologies in the field of electric vehicles and new opportunities in this field. At the Tata Experience Center, he also inquired about the progress of the Tata Group.

The demand for electric vehicles in India is steadily increasing and Tata Motors is gearing up to further strengthen its EV range to meet this growing demand. The company plans to launch two of its most popular SUVs, Tata Sierra and Tata Safari, in electric versions in the near future. Interestingly, both these electric SUVs are expected to offer a driving range of over 500 kms, which will address a major concern of customers traveling long distances.

Tata Sierra is a popular SUV. Now, the company is relaunching it with a modern design and advanced electric technology. The new Sierra EV will be built on the company’s Acti.ev platform. It is expected to have a large battery and a powerful electric motor, which will allow it to travel more than 500 kilometers on a single charge. According to some reports, this car could offer a potential range of 550 to 600 km.

In terms of design, the Sierra EV will be similar to the old model, but could also feature modern LED lighting, a premium interior, a large touchscreen infotainment system and a host of smart connected features. Features like Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD) may be available in some variants.

On the other hand, the Tata Safari EV could be introduced as the company’s flagship electric SUV. The car is being designed for customers who want a large, premium and family-friendly electric SUV. The Safari EV is expected to offer a range of approximately 500 kilometers or more, along with an AWD system, a large battery pack, excellent performance and modern features.

With the launch of these two SUVs, Tata Motors can further strengthen its grip on the Indian electric car market. The company already has a strong position in the country’s EV segment and plans to increase its market share with new models.
