Tata Motors has launched the Dark Edition of its popular Sierra SUV in the Indian market. The starting ex-showroom price of this special edition is ₹13.99 lakh. The Dark Edition will be available to customers in 6 variants namely Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure+ L, Adventure+ L, Accomplished and Accomplished+. Along with the special black look, the interior has also been given a different touch.
Exclusive design with black look
The Sierra Dark Edition has Friesian Black exterior color. The black color is complemented by Purple Chrome accents, giving the SUV a distinct look from the regular Sierra. The cabin features a Violet Eclipse theme, all-black leatherette seats and purple chrome detailing. That means the entire SUV has been decorated in a dark theme from the outside to the inside.

There is no change in the engine
No mechanical changes have been made in the Dark Edition. Variant wise there are 1.5-litre Revotron petrol, 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel and 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo petrol engine options. Along with that, manual, DCA and automatic transmission options are available. The Adventure+ L Dark offers the most powertrain options.
Price ₹21.59 up to lakhs
The Pure L Dark starts at ₹13.99 lakh, while the top-spec Accomplished+ Dark goes up to ₹21.59 lakh for the automatic variant. Dark Edition does not have a separate set of features. Only the features found in the respective regular variants have been retained in this edition. So customers may find this version attractive for a unique design and a different look rather than more features.
