New variants of Nexon and emphasis on CNG option

Keeping in mind the ever-increasing competition in the sub-four meter SUV segment, Tata Motors is going to introduce its most popular car Nexon with new looks and variants. To give a direct competition to the rival vehicles, the company is going to strike a balance between the features and price of Nexon, which will provide more ‘value for money’ option to the customers. This new variant can be made available in petrol as well as CNG option. The special thing is that special attention is being given to improving the practical boot space in the upcoming CNG model.

Plans to launch Safari EV

After maintaining its dominance in the electric vehicle segment, Tata is now working on plans to launch the country’s first 7-seater luxury electric SUV, the Safari EV. This vehicle will be based on the company’s advanced Acti.EV+ platform, on which the Harrier EV is also built. It is believed that it will be equipped with large battery packs of 65 kWh and 75 kWh capacity, which will be capable of providing an impressive range of 550 to 600 kilometers once fully charged. In terms of safety and convenience, it will have high-tech features like ADAS technology, auto park assist and a 540-degree camera.

Preparations to bring Tigor Facelift in a new avatar

The company will offer this car in three powertrains – petrol, CNG, and all-electric. Its petrol model will get a 1.2-liter engine, while the EV version may retain the existing 26 kWh battery, which will provide a driving range of approximately 315 kilometers.

Punch Flex Fuel, the car will run on E85

Promoting eco-friendly and economical options, Tata Motors is all set to launch its first flex-fuel car, the Punch Flex Fuel. The car will come with a specially tuned 1.2-litre engine that will run smoothly on a blend of E85 (85% ethanol and 15% petrol). For this, the company has made several technological improvements to the engine components and fuel supply system, so that there is no impact on the performance of the vehicle.
