Taylor Swift has found herself at the centre of Photoshop claims after fans noticed a possible editing flaw in a teaser for her forthcoming single, Patient Zero.
On Tuesday, September 22, the 36-year-old global pop star announced her latest track, but some fans weren’t impressed with the accompanying cover art.
Swift’s latest promotional image became a talking point after eagle-eyed users spotted an apparent Photoshop blunder.

Shortly after the photo appeared online, fans began pointing out an unusual edit around her underarm, where the natural contour of her side appeared to have been erased.
“All I see is the really bad Photoshop, borderline AI vibes. She has no armpit,” one user wrote on Instagram.
Another commented, “I’m a huge Swiftie and I see it. This one just didn’t look right.”
“It could be an artistic choice. She’s been worried about public opinion in the past. Maybe the song is about erasing every imperfection until you no longer look like you, then finding yourself again after that?” a third fan offered.
Another commented on X, “The Photoshop on Taylor Swift’s ‘Patient Zero’ cover is horrendous… girl, you’re a billionaire, please get a professional photographer.”

The Photoshop accusations came just hours after the 14-time Grammy winner unveiled the project on Instagram Tuesday, announcing that Patient Zero is scheduled for release on Friday, September 25.
“I’ve been impatiently waiting to tell you that my brand new single ‘Patient Zero’ will be out on September 25 (!!!!!!!!!!!!) and it’s available to pre-order now on my website for 24 hours,” she penned.
Swift is giving fans a limited 24-hour window to purchase three collector’s edition CDs, each featuring a double-sided cover.
