Game Desk: The Indian cricket team has reached Japan to participate in the Asian Games men's cricket tournament and the historic T20 (T20I) match against Japan. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared a spectacular video of the players reaching Japan on social media platform

The fans welcomed the Indian players very warmly at the Japan airport and got photographs taken with them. During this, wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan was seen saying “Konichiwa” (Hello) and “Arigato” (Thank you) in Japanese, which is being liked a lot among the fans.

To celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations between India and Japan, a historic T20I match named 'Suzuki Cup' will be organized at the Sano International Cricket Ground in Tochigi Prefecture on September 22. After this, the Indian team captained by Shreyas Iyer will take the field to play its first match in the quarter-final match of the Asian Games 2026 on 28 September.
