Technology News : If you love dining at restaurants away from home, there is no need to travel there anymore. Food delivery platform Zomato has launched a new feature for customers called Limitless Delivery. This allows users to order food from restaurants located up to 40 kilometers from their delivery address. Until now, the app mainly displayed options for restaurants that delivered near the customer’s home. With the new facility, people will now have more food options.
Limitless Delivery will also allow customers to order food from restaurants located in other parts of their city. For example, if you live in Gurugram and you like the food of a particular restaurant in Delhi, you can now find it on Zomato. If that restaurant delivers to your address under this feature, you can order food from there.
How to use Zomato Limitless Delivery?
You don’t need to download a new app to use this feature; It is available in the existing Zomato app. There are two ways to use it.
Method 1: Order from Explore More
First, open the Zomato app on your smartphone.
Go to the home screen of the app.
Find the Limitless Delivery quick link in the Explore More section.
Tapping this link will display the list of restaurants available under the facility.
Select the restaurant of your choice and order from the menu.
Method 2: Search for the restaurant name
If you want to order food from a particular restaurant, type its name in the search bar of the Zomato app. If that restaurant is available through Limitless Delivery to your delivery address, you will be able to order from there.
Facility started in 7 cities including Delhi-NCR
Currently, Zomato has launched this feature in seven cities of the country. These include: Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad etc. In these cities, users can view restaurant options within 40 km from their home.
Will there be an extra charge for long distance?
One question related to this feature is the delivery fee. Will customers pay more if they order food from 40 km away? Zomato has not yet given any clear information on this matter. The company also did not say whether a separate delivery fee would apply to unlimited delivery orders. So, don’t forget to review the bill displayed on the app before confirming your order. Delivery charges, platform fees and other charges may vary depending on the order.
