Patna. Grand alliance protests against SIR continue in Bihar. State Congress President Rajesh Ram arrived at the protest organized in Patna with handcuffs on his hands. He also had a copy of the Constitution in his hand. At the same time, Tejaswi Yadav also joined the protest and fiercely attacked the Central Government and the Election Commission. Tejashwi climbed the barricades, workers broke the barriers

After this the protesters broke the barricades. Tajaswi Yadav crossed three barricades and proceeded on foot. During this time there was a scuffle between the police and the protesters. Later the police detained Tejashwi Yadav and Rajesh Ram. RJD MLAs and workers also climbed on top of the police vehicle in which Tejashwi Yadav was seated. Slogans continued to be raised from there.
Tejashwi lashed out at the administration after meeting the Governor
After being detained, Tejashwi Yadav went to meet the Governor. After the meeting, he said that time had already been taken for the demonstration, yet barricades were put up on the way. Tejashwi claimed that the Grand Alliance was marching peacefully, but the attitude of the administration was dictatorial. He also alleged that the police were deployed with AK-47. Tejashwi said that the people of Grand Alliance are not afraid of bullets and jail. He said that he is ready to make any kind of sacrifice if necessary to protect democracy.

Tejashwi Yadav said that SIR was started from Bihar and now the people of the country have understood the alleged irregularities of the Election Commission. He also targeted Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Tejashwi said, “Gyanesh Kumar is an example.” He also attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and said that the most important thing is to remove them. He alleged that everyone knows why Gyanesh Kumar was brought to this post. Tejashwi also made objectionable remarks about CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
Claim of talks with Rahul Gandhi, preparations to take the movement to Delhi
Tejashwi Yadav told that he had talked to Rahul Gandhi. He said that he has received an invitation for the demonstration to be held in Delhi. During the demonstration in Patna, Grand Alliance workers raised various slogans. the protesters ‘One kachori, two samosas, how can the country trust’ And ‘Where will you find Gyanesh Kumar, in the lap of BJP?’ Raised slogans like Tejashwi Yadav’s ‘Johnny-Johnny yes papa, cheating vote no papa’ This statement was also discussed a lot during the demonstration.
Gyanesh Kumar’s effigy burnt, leader fainted during protest
During the demonstration, Grand Alliance workers also burnt the effigy of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. RJD MLC reached the protest carrying a duffle and raised slogans along with the workers. Meanwhile, information about former Male MLA Ajit Kushwaha fainting during the protest came to light. RJD’s chief spokesperson Bhai Virendra also raised slogans against Gyanesh Kumar and demanded strict action against him.
Opposition’s continuous questions on Election Commission regarding SIR
The Grand Alliance is continuously cornering the Election Commission on the issue of SIR.
