The French Meteorological Department fears that the temperature may reach 40 degrees in the capital Paris in the next few days. At least 50 people, including 4 children, have died in France so far. France is the worst in Europe. Schools, colleges and educational institutions have been ordered to remain closed due to the heat wave.
Along with France, Britain, Italy and Spain are also burning in the heat. Temperatures hit 37 degrees Celsius in Britain. Temperatures there are also expected to touch 40 degrees in the next few days. Heatwave warnings have already been issued across Britain.
