Tesla Roadster Launch Date: Tesla's new Roadster is coming on October 1, will create a stir with 1000 km range and thruster technology.

Automobile Desk: The wait for the most talked about and awaited sports car 'New Generation Roadster' of the electric vehicle manufacturing giant American company Tesla is now about to end. The company is finally going to present this long-delayed car to the world on October 1, 2026. Tesla has shared a new teaser on its official social media handle with the caption 'Go for launch', showing the date of 10.01. As soon as this teaser came out, there has been a stir in the automobile market.

This second generation roadster was first introduced by the company as a concept in the year 2017. At that time, there was a plan to launch it in the market by 2020, but due to construction and technical reasons, its launch kept getting postponed again and again. After a long wait of almost 9 years, now the company is preparing to introduce it officially. However, the prices of the car and when its deliveries will start to the customers are yet to be revealed.

This electric car can set new standards in terms of driving range. During the initial presentation, Tesla had claimed that this car can cover a distance of up to 620 miles i.e. about 998 kilometers on a single charge. Currently, its range is shown as 1,000 kilometers on the company's official website. If this claim proves to be true, then it will become one of the longest range electric cars in the world at present.

Along with the range, the speed and pickup of this car are also very surprising. According to 2017 data, this car was capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds. According to the information available on the website, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in 2.1 seconds, while its top speed is said to be more than 400 km per hour. These speed figures put it at the forefront of the world's fastest electric sports cars.

The shot of gas coming out from the rear of the car has attracted the most attention in the teaser. Auto experts believe that Elon Musk is going to use the cold-gas thrusters technology of his space company 'SpaceX' in this car. Musk has already indicated that a special variant of the Roadster can be given rocket-like thruster technology, which will increase the acceleration and cornering performance of the car manifold. However, whether this technology will be available in all models or only in the special edition will be revealed only on October 1.
