16Greater Noida West road accident: 40-year-old Neeraj, who was riding a scooter, died in a collision with a speeding Thar in Greater Noida West on Monday, while his wife was injured. The accident happened in Itera area of Bisrakh police station area. After the collision, the Thar driver fled from the spot. Police have seized the Thar involved in the accident and are searching for the absconding driver.
Heavy collision between Thar and Scooty in Itera area
According to the police, on September 21, 2026, there was a collision between Thar and Scooty in Bisrakh police station area. Scooty rider Neeraj and his wife were injured in the accident. Both were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Neeraj’s condition was critical and he died during treatment. His wife is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Neeraj was a resident of Chipiyana and his age is said to be 40 years.
Thar driver fled from the spot after the accident
After the accident, the Thar driver did not stop at the spot and fled away. After receiving the information, Bisrakh police reached the spot and started investigation. Police have taken the Thar involved in the accident into their custody. Now the investigation team is trying to reach the accused driver on the basis of facts related to the vehicle.

Doctors tried to save Neeraj who was seriously injured in the accident, but he died during treatment. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the family after the accident. According to the police, a complaint is being received from the plaintiff in the case. On the basis of the complaint, a case will be registered and further legal action will be taken. At present, the police is investigating the circumstances of the accident and searching for the absconding Thar driver. Police have taken possession of the vehicle and now the focus of the investigation is on the cause of the accident and the identification and arrest of the driver.
