A shocking incident came to light from North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, when a teacher scolded a class 11 student in the school. After this, the father of the 11th class student reached the school and instead of scolding his son, he beat the teacher with a belt. During that time the other teachers stopped the student's father from beating him. The victim teacher lodged a police complaint against the accused. After this the police took the accused into custody.
This incident took place in a school in Gopal Nagar. On August 25, when the student was doing mischief in the class, the teacher scolded him. After this the student's father Debabrata Das was called to the school. When Debabrata Das reached school, he had an argument with his teacher Arun Das. Meanwhile, Debabrata Das got angry and started beating Arun Das with a belt. This entire incident was captured in CCTV camera, the footage of which started going viral on social media.

Why did the teacher scold the student?
According to school teacher Arun Das, the process of registration of all the students was going on in the class room. At the same time, there was a ruckus in the class room, so Arun Das came to the class room to calm the students. Then Arun scolded all the students. The father of the student who was causing the most disturbance was called to the school.
The student's father Debabrata Das had reached the school. Earlier he was scolding his son only. During that time an altercation started between Debabrata and Arun Das. After this Debabrata took out his belt and hit Arun Das with it. Regarding this incident, the victim Arun Das said that this incident not only caused physical injury but also caused mental trauma.

The truth shown in CCTV footage
The victim Arun Das had gone to the police station and lodged a complaint against the accused. After this, the police watched the CCTV footage of this incident, in which it was clearly visible that the accused attacked the teacher with a belt. On the basis of this clue, the police detained the accused Debabrata Das.
