Satyendra Jain, who was a minister in the Delhi government, has been arrested once again. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendra Jain has been arrested in a case related to Delhi Jal Board. Five more people have been arrested along with him, including three businessmen. One of these businessmen is Raj Kumar Kurra. His company has been doing business all over the country and still many big companies and institutions are its clients. Satyendar Jain is accused of changing the terms and conditions to benefit this company and get the tender.
Satyendar Jain has been arrested due to these allegations. The reason is that at the time when this matter was raised, Satyendar Jain was the Water Minister of Delhi. In this case, FIR was registered on 11 May 2024 under the Anti-Corruption Act, 1988. This FIR was lodged on the complaint of Vigilance. Vigilance alleges that the tenders issued to upgrade the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) of Delhi Jal Board were rigged.

Apart from Satyendra Jain, IAS officer Udit Prakash Rai, who was the CEO of Delhi Jal Board at that time, has also been arrested. Apart from him, Ankit Srivastava, who was a contractual consultant for Delhi Jal Board, has also been arrested by the ACB. Among the three businessmen, the first name is Raj Kumar Kurra, owner of Eurotech, the second name is Nagendra Yadav of AN Enterprises and the third name is Pankaj Verma of Srijanhar.
