The District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police took stock of the security arrangements at Chahondaghat in view of the Kanwar Yatra.

Ambedkar Nagar. In view of the Shravan month and the Kanwar Yatra, District Magistrate Isha Priya and Superintendent of Police Prachi Singh conducted a joint inspection of the Chahoda Ghat and the temple complex located there to review the arrangements made for Kanwar pilgrims and devotees.

During the inspection, the two officers thoroughly inspected the cleanliness, security, lighting, movement of devotees, and other essential facilities at the ghat and temple complex. All arrangements were found to be satisfactory and well-organized. Adequate arrangements for water barricading were also ensured for the safety of devotees at the ghat.

The District Magistrate directed the concerned officials to ensure the convenience and safety of devotees during the Shravan month and Kanwar Yatra, keeping them a top priority. He directed them to ensure regular cleanliness, adequate lighting, security arrangements, and other basic amenities at the temple complex and ghat, ensuring that devotees do not face any inconvenience.

While inspecting the security arrangements, the Superintendent of Police directed the concerned officials to maintain constant surveillance during the movement of devotees and ensure all necessary arrangements for maintaining effective and smooth law and order. On this occasion, Chief Development Officer Anand Kumar Shukla, District Panchayat Officer, Sub-District Magistrate Alappur, Block Development Officer Ramnagar along with officers and employees of the concerned department were present.
