The company has started pre-orders for this new wide screen smartphone in China. Through a Weibo post, Huawei executive director Yu Chengdong said that the device will go on sale from August 28. The company has launched its new wide screen smartphone in 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB and 12GB + 1TB RAM and storage variants. Customers can buy this smartphone in 4 color options. Talking about the features and specifications of the new smartphone, the Huawei Pura X View features a 6.39-inch display, which comes with 1,320×2,232 pixel resolution, 6,500 nits peak brightness and 2,160 Hz PWM dimming. Its panel offers a wide aspect ratio of 16:9.5 and a screen-to-body ratio of 96.1 percent. Only 1.05mm thin bezels are provided on all four sides of the screen. The company claims that the wide display will offer a better viewing experience while watching videos, gaming and reading books.

Huawei Pura X View is only 6.68mm thick and weighs 201 grams. The phone packs a massive 7,000mAh battery and runs on the latest HarmonyOS 7.0. Currently, the company has not revealed the price and rear camera details of its new smartphone. But according to some leaks, the device could feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a telephoto lens.
