Big step towards strengthening road connectivity in Uttar Pradesh

A very wonderful and very good news has come for the people of Uttar Pradesh. The government has taken a big step towards further strengthening the road connectivity and transportation system in the state. A huge financial approval of more than Rs 3,095 crore has been given to take forward a total of 36 new road projects in different parts of the state. After this big decision, the days of many districts of the state are going to change and people are hopeful of getting tremendous relief in transportation.

Public Works Department engaged in tender process and complete math of cost

Now the Public Works Department (PWD) is fully engaged in preparations for the tender process to get all these important projects off the ground as soon as possible. All these projects have received official green signal in the Expenditure Finance Committee meetings. The cost of these approved schemes varies. While some small road projects are worth around Rs 25 crore, on the other hand, the cost of the biggest road project is said to be around Rs 665 crore. The schemes whose cost is more than Rs 200 crore will be sent for further formal process to the Cabinet for approval.

Luck of these special districts will shine, road projects will get bumper benefits

Many major districts of Uttar Pradesh have been included in the scope of these excellent schemes approved by the government. These approved schemes mainly include the names of Sitapur, Mirzapur, Deoria, Maharajganj, Sonbhadra, Banda, Varanasi, Chitrakoot, Jhansi, Lucknow, Lakhimpur Kheri and Sambhal. Apart from this, people of many other districts of the state including Gorakhpur, Gonda and Etah are also going to get direct and big benefits of these new road projects, which will completely change the picture of these areas.

Gorakhpur and Gonda got special gift and expansion of network

During the recent meetings, special focus has been laid on Gorakhpur and Gonda districts. In the second important meeting, green signal has been given to three new road projects for Gorakhpur alone and six for Gonda. Along with this, important projects of Etah, Sitapur, Sonbhadra, Deoria and Varanasi were also included in it. With the completion of all these projects, the road network will expand in all these areas and the movement of the general public will become very easy and safe.

Along with roads, other construction works and animal husbandry schemes also approved

In these important meetings, emphasis was not only laid on the construction of roads, but along with this, many welfare schemes related to animal husbandry and education were also officially approved. To increase the scope of veterinary facilities in the state, apart from four new veterinary hospitals, projects of one block level and one primary veterinary hospital have also been approved. Along with this, the construction work of new buildings of District Rural Development Institute in Farrukhabad has also been given the green signal.

Government also places special emphasis on industrial development and education schemes.

Taking this trend of development forward, the way has been cleared for the construction of state-of-the-art Chief Minister Model Composite Schools in Mathura and Sonbhadra. Apart from this, financial approval has also been given to a total of 10 development projects related to 'BIDA' in Kanpur Dehat, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Hamirpur and Jhansi. This holistic initiative will not only lead to the development of roads, but along with it, work will also progress rapidly towards strengthening education, rural development and industrial infrastructure.
