The general public got a big shock! CNG crosses ₹80 for the first time in Delhi, price increased for the second time in 48 hours

The common people have once again suffered a major shock on the inflation front. Within the last two days, there has once again been a huge increase in the prices of CNG. According to the latest report, the price of CNG has been increased by Rs 1 per kg in the country’s capital Delhi and adjoining NCR cities. Let us tell you that just before this, on May 15, the price of CNG was increased by Rs 2.

The direct effect of this new increase is that the price of CNG in Delhi has crossed the figure of Rs 80 for the first time in history. On the other hand, in Noida, CNG prices have now reached very close to Rs 89. Market experts believe that after this increase, in the coming days, common people may have to shell out more for auto rickshaws and CNG run taxis, because their fares may soon increase.

Prices increased for the second time in just 48 hours

Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has decided to increase CNG prices for the second consecutive time in just 48 hours. This time IGL has increased the price of CNG by Rs 1 per kg in Delhi-NCR. After this new change, the price of CNG in Delhi has now increased to Rs 80.09 per kg. On the other hand, in Noida too, after an increase of Re 1, the new price of CNG has reached Rs 88.70 per kg.

CNG became expensive by Rs 3 in 3 days, this is the real reason

Earlier on May 15, the people of Delhi-NCR had got a big shock when the prices of CNG were increased by Rs 2 directly. Now, exactly two days later, an increase of Rs 1 has been made. This means that within the last three days, the price of CNG in Delhi has increased by a total of Rs 3 per kg. According to experts, this trend of increase in the prices of CNG is not going to stop here, its prices may increase further in the coming days. According to experts, the prices of natural gas are continuously increasing in the international market, the direct effect of which is now visible on the prices of CNG in the domestic market.

Petrol and diesel have also taken a big hit, the impact of Iran war increased

Not only CNG, before this on May 15, the prices of petrol and diesel had also broken the back of the general public. Then the prices of petrol and diesel were directly increased by Rs 3 per liter by the petroleum companies. After this increase, the price of petrol in the capital Delhi has reached Rs 97.77 per liter and the price of diesel has reached Rs 90.67 per liter.

In fact, ever since the Iran War started, the prices of crude oil in the international market have increased by more than 50 percent. Crude oil prices have remained above $100 per barrel continuously for the last 23 trading days. Along with crude oil becoming expensive, there has also been a big decline in the Indian rupee against the US dollar. Since the start of the Iran war, the rupee has fallen by more than 5 percent against the dollar, which is why the country is currently facing a major inflation crisis.
