Asha Bhosle Music Academy Mumbai: The state government has decided to take a major step towards taking forward the musical approach of veteran singer Asha Bhosle. An announcement that the government will take proactive measures to establish a music institute based on the concept conceived by Asha Bhosle Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis Did it on Monday.

During the state cabinet meeting, emotional tributes were paid to the late ‘Ashatai’. Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar along with other Cabinet Ministers were present on this occasion. During the meeting, everyone Asha Bhosle Tributes were paid to him and his immense contribution to the field of music was remembered.

Chief Minister Fadnavis said that Asha Bhosle had proposed to establish a special organization dedicated to the field of music during her lifetime. He assured that the government will take this proposal seriously and take it forward and concrete steps will be taken to realize this dream of Ashatai. During the Cabinet meeting, Chief Secretary Rajesh Agarwal read out a condolence message on the death of Asha Bhosle.

Earlier, Chief Minister Fadnavis had paid emotional tributes to the singer. In a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), he wrote: “The news of death of Padma Vibhushan and Maharashtra Bhushan award winning veteran singer Ashatai Bhosle is truly heartbreaking. Just three years ago she celebrated her 90th birthday with much fanfare. After Lata Didi’s demise, now Ashatai has lost another star in the Mangeshkar family. That beautiful garden of melodies is deserted today.”

It is important to mention here that the singer was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday due to deteriorating health. He died on Sunday while undergoing treatment in the hospital. The singer was honored with numerous awards for her many amazing songs. He was honored with the prestigious ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Award’ in 2000, followed by ‘Padma Vibhushan’ in 2008.
