Season 5 of his Netflix comedy series ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ (TGIKS) is going to go on floors soon, which has created a lot of excitement among the fans. According to sources, the shooting of the show is likely to start from August 2026 and the same old team will be seen adding laughter once again in the new episodes.
Shooting of TGIKS Season 5 will start from August
According to the updates related to the entertainment industry, Kapil Sharma and his team have started preparations for the new season. The fifth season of the show will be shot before its release soon on Netflix. After the success of the last four seasons, the makers hope that the new season will also attract a huge audience on the OTT platform.
There will be no change in the team
The biggest strength of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ has been its fixed comedy team. The new season will feature the same popular cast members, including:

Apart from this, the presence of Archana Puran Singh and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu is also expected to continue in the show as judge and guest.

Its first season was released on 30 March 2024 and after this four consecutive seasons were a hit among the audience.
