Addressing the meeting, Communist Party of India (Marxist) Bihar State Secretary Board member Prabhuraj Narayan Rao said that the Modi government wants to snatch the lands of the farmers and give them to the corporates. It is not implementing the 5 decimal residential land scheme for the landless. For 24 years, 399 land holders have got the papers on the land of Bakulhar Math. But till now the possession has not been given to the poor belonging to the Dalit class. Bihar government and the district administration are also looking indifferent. We have to unite and capture the land through struggle.
Addressing the gathering, the party’s District Secretary Chandsi Prasad Yadav called upon the ticket holders to surround the Chanpatia Circle Officer. Kisan Sabha District Secretary Prakash Kumar Verma told the gathering that the Kisan Sabha will be able to survive only by getting possession of the land to the Kisan Sabha. The meeting was addressed at Chhardawali’s M. Sahim, Rambadhai Paswan of Chhota Gopalpur, Haresh Das of Bada Gopalpur, Amika Ram of Dumra, Khirodhan Ram of Hariharpur, Vishram Ram of Bakulhar, Bharat Ram of Fatehpur, M. Bablu etc. addressed.
