On the day of the incident i.e. on November 25, when the hotel staff opened the door of the room after it was not opened for a long time, Prince was found lying unconscious on the bathroom floor. Medical emergency team was immediately called on the spot and every effort was made to save him, but the doctors declared him dead on the spot.

In this footage, Prince was clearly seen going out of the hotel to smoke a cigarette just one evening before his death and then returning alone to his room. The post-mortem report of the dead body did not reveal any signs of any serious or chronic disease.
