The Chief Minister said, now the religious places in Hamirpur are getting a new identity. Ponds are being dug, big water conservation programs are going on. Tap water scheme for every house will become a factor of widespread change here. Today, due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, manufacturing of ammunition, cannon and missiles has become possible in Uttar Pradesh itself through the Defense Corridor. We all have seen the might of the Indian Army and indigenous defense capability in ‘Operation Sindoor’.
During this, he said that, remember, there was no connectivity for Bundelkhand 9 years ago. The roads were in potholes. The water people were worried here. The youth were worried about their identity crisis. Mafia was dominant, sand mafia, land mafia and mining mafia used to dominate the district and exploit the people. But in the last 12 years, India is changing under the leadership of Modi ji.
The Chief Minister further said, now there is no identity crisis. Earlier they used to do casteist politics. When they come to power, they feed their families; they do not see anything else except their families. But for Modi ji, 140 crore people of India are family and for us, 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh are family. He further said that on the lines of New India, UP has also created its own new identity. Under the Har Ghar Jal Yojana, water is now reaching people’s homes.
Also said that during the Samajwadi Party government, there used to be a mafia in every district. These mafias used to occupy the lands of the poor, do illegal mining and create trouble for businessmen and their daughters. He said that they used to attack the police. This tarnishes the image of Bundelkhand and Hamirpur. But now the mafia has been destroyed or is in jail.
