According to the report of Britain’s prestigious newspaper The Observer, Prime Minister Keir Starmer may soon decide to step down from his post. The report also said that if he resigns, he can also make public the complete time frame for leaving his post. On the other hand, government sources say that the Prime Minister is completely focused on his administrative work and there is no truth in the news of resignation.
Pressure increased due to Andy Burnham’s victory
On 19 June, Starmer’s main political rival Andy Burnham scored a significant victory in the parliamentary election. After this victory, Burnham has got the opportunity to strengthen the demand for leadership change within the Labor Party. Political analysts believe that this development has further increased the pressure on Starmer.

These MPs demand that the Prime Minister either resign immediately or declare a clear deadline for an honorable farewell.
