The message of environmental protection echoed in the Collectorate premises on Independence Day, plantation was done under the Ek Peed Maa Ke Naam campaign.

On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, the message of environmental protection along with patriotism was given in the Collectorate premises. Under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign, District Magistrate Charcha Gaur and Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Vagish Kumar Shukla planted saplings in the Collectorate premises. On this occasion, officers and employees also expressed their commitment towards tree plantation and environmental protection.

On this occasion, District Magistrate Charchal Gaur said that the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign is not limited to just planting trees, but it is a symbol of our responsibility towards nature and the coming generations. Every person should plant a sapling in honor and memory of his mother and take regular care of it till it grows into a tree. He said that trees are the basis of our life. To keep the environment safe and balanced, along with planting more and more trees, it is also necessary to protect the planted plants.

He called upon the officers and employees to make plantation in their workplace and surrounding areas a public campaign. The District Magistrate said that Independence Day reminds us of our responsibilities towards the nation. In the same spirit, we will have to make environmental protection also our responsibility. By planting more and more trees and taking care of them, we can provide a clean, healthy and green environment to the coming generations.

During this, the officers and employees present in the Collectorate premises took a pledge to take care and conserve the plants. Through the Ek Pedre Maa Ke Naam campaign, a beautiful message of respect for mother power and nature conservation along with patriotism was given in the Independence Day celebrations.
