Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has made a big attack on Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Rahul Gandhi has attacked the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and the problems caused to students due to CBSE’s On-Screen Marking (OSM) system. He alleged that the Education Ministry has now become a disaster department.

While posting on X, Rahul wrote, ‘First NEET paper leaked, which affected 22 lakh students. Then CBSE 12th class students got lower marks than expected due to a faulty OSM system, due to which many students will not get admission in college. Now CBSE is suddenly asking lakhs of 9th class students to learn a new language from July 1, while there are neither teachers nor books.

He alleged that 14-year-old children were given Class 6 books as a ‘temporary’ solution. Rahul said, ‘Three exams. Three age groups. A minister. Dharmendra Pradhan ji has not failed just once. They have failed every age group of Indian students together. Every announcement pushes students into a deep whirlpool of uncertainty.

Rahul said that no punishment is given every time. He said that ‘the Ministry of Education has now become the Department of Disasters.’

Earlier on Saturday also, Rahul Gandhi had made a post on X demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. He had demanded from Prime Minister Narendra Modi that Dharmendra Pradhan should be asked to resign and those who are guilty should be caught and put in jail.
