Chapra Anand Vihar special: Due to the upcoming Dussehra, Diwali and the great festival of folk faith, Chhath Puja, a huge crowd of passengers has started gathering in the trains. Especially for the passengers returning from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh to Bihar, it was becoming difficult to get confirmed tickets in trains. To overcome this problem, North Eastern Railway has given a big gift to the passengers. Railway administration has announced to run weekly ‘Pooja Special Train’ between Chhapra Junction and Anand Vihar Terminal of Delhi, which has started from today i.e. Tuesday, October 6.
This special train will pass through the main Thawe Junction of Gopalganj, which will provide great convenience to lakhs of passengers from Chhapra, Siwan, Gopalganj and Eastern Uttar Pradesh in commuting to Delhi.
When will this train run? Chapra Anand Vihar special
According to the Railways, for the convenience of passengers, 8-8 trips have been scheduled for this train from both directions:
- Train Number 05085 (Chhapra to Anand Vihar): This train will leave from Chhapra every Tuesday starting from 6th October till 24th November.
- Train Number 05086 (Anand Vihar to Chhapra): In return, this train will run from Anand Vihar Terminal every Wednesday from October 7 to November 25.
Time-Table and Route
- Chhapra to Anand Vihar: Train number 05085 will leave from Chhapra Junction at 1:05 pm. After this, it will reach Thawe at 3:55 pm via Mashrakh and Dighwa Dubouli. After the halt here, the train will move ahead and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 9:40 am the next day.
- Anand Vihar to Chhapra: Train number 05086 will depart from Anand Vihar at 10:50 am. The next day it will reach Thawe Junction at 4:30 am and then reach Chhapra Junction at 7:00 am via Dighwa Dubauli-Masharakh.

During the journey, this train will stop at Mashrakh, Dighwa Dubauli, Thawe Junction, Padrauna, Ramkola, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad and Ghaziabad stations in both directions.
22 coach train, seats for every class
Keeping in mind every need of the passengers, a total of 22 coaches have been installed in this train. This includes General (Unreserved), Sleeper, 3-Tier AC Economy, 3-Tier AC, 2-Tier AC as well as First AC cum 2-Tier AC coaches. This train will prove to be no less than a boon for those returning from Delhi-NCR to their villages after celebrating festivals during the festive season.
