New Delhi, 22 July. The third day of the monsoon session of Parliament was also marred by uproar by opposition MPs and the proceedings of both the houses were adjourned till 11 am on Thursday.
In fact, on Wednesday, the opposition raised the issue of police action taken against the youth in both the houses during the ‘Sansad Chalo’ march, on which a huge uproar was seen. After this, Lok Sabha-Rajya Sabha were adjourned for the day.
Kharge said – Dharmendra Pradhan should resign, only then the NEET paper leak issue will be discussed.
Congress President in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said that he wants to discuss the NEET paper leak issue in the House only when Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns. At the same time, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said in the Lok Sabha that the government has been continuously offering discussion on the issue of NEET paper leak for the last three days, but the opposition is doing politics on the issue.
As it has been said that discussion under Rule 267 takes place in ‘rarest of the rare’ cases, but such is the situation today.
Because today students, children, women are being dragged, beaten and harassed.

Earlier, when the Lok Sabha assembled to begin its proceedings at 11 am, Speaker Om Birla attempted to start the Question Hour, but opposition members raised the issue of NEET paper leak and student protests, leading to the Lok Sabha being adjourned till 12 noon.
After the resumption of proceedings, KC Venugopal of Congress and Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party raised the issue of student protests. Chairman Om Birla said that the government is ready to discuss this matter and everyone should be unanimous regarding the time of discussion. As the uproar continued, the House was adjourned till 2 pm.
The same situation was seen in Rajya Sabha also. When the House resumed after the first adjournment at 12 noon, the opposition again started raising slogans on the NEET issue, due to which the House had to be adjourned till 2 pm. It was later adjourned till 11 am on Thursday.

Meanwhile, other opposition MPs including Rahul Gandhi reached Parliament wearing black clothes in protest and raised slogans against the Modi government and also reiterated their demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee suspended from monsoon session
Amidst the ongoing uproar in Parliament, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Kalyan Banerjee was suspended from the monsoon session. He has been accused of indecent behavior and use of unparliamentary language against women MPs.
On Wednesday, TDP MP KP Tennetti, who is presiding over the House, said that the Lok Sabha Speaker has received a written complaint regarding the alleged conduct and language of Kalyan Banerjee, after which Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal moved a proposal in the Lok Sabha to suspend Kalyan Banerjee for the remaining period of the current monsoon session of Parliament and the House approved the proposal.
