Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to announce this. Narendra Modi will be on Sydney tour next week. During this time he can announce the first Big Bash League match in India. BCCI and Cricket Australia have signed a deal to organize Big Bash League matches in India.

Big Bash League matches will be held in India

According to Australian media reports, after the final agreement between Cricket Australia (CA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the match between Melbourne Renegades and Perth Scorchers is going to be held at MA Chidambaram Stadium. Australian domestic cricket match will be the first match in history to be played in India.




  • If reports are to be believed, PM Modi will be on Australia tour from 8th to 10th July. During this time he can make an official announcement about the Big Bash League to be held in India. Cricket Australia was considering this for several months. In February, senior officials Phil Rigby and Margot Harley visited India and also inspected the facilities at the May Chidambaram Stadium. Indian fans are eagerly waiting for the Big Bash League in India. Cricket is very popular in India. Therefore, Cricket Australia and BCCI are trying to do something new.

    Perth Scorchers won the title

    The Big Bash League Final 2025-26 clashed between Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers. In the final match, Sydney had scored 132 runs, in response to which Perth scored 133/4 runs in 17.3 overs and won the title match by 6 wickets. For Perth, Marsh scored 44 runs in 43 balls. Apart from this, Finn Allen had played an inning of 36 runs in 22 balls.
