Lucknow. UP Governor Anandiben Patel approved calling a session of the UP Legislature on April 30 to discuss the Nari Shakti Vandan Amendment Bill. The state government had given approval for calling a special session on Sunday through cabinet by circulation, after which this proposal was sent to the Governor and the Governor approved it.

In fact, due to the failure of Nari Shakti Vandan Amendment Bill to be passed, BJP has aggressively attacked the opposition. Even on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while holding a press conference, had cornered the opposition and said that during the introduction of the amendment bill in the Parliament, the character of the opposition parties was like disrobing Draupadi in the gathering. This is unfortunate for both women’s respect and democracy. Now the government is preparing to corner the opposition on this issue in the Assembly also.
According to sources, in the session of the Legislature held on April 30, the government will clarify its position on the issue of women’s reservation as well as attack the opposition. There is discussion that a motion censuring the attitude of the opposition can also be presented during the session.
