A shocking theft incident has come to light from Pydhuni area of South Mumbai, where an employee took advantage of his boss's trust and made away with a huge amount of Rs 1.20 crore in filmy style. Using his cunning mind, the accused replaced the bag full of money with an identical bag, which was filled with pieces of cardboard instead of notes. Vikas Jain, a businessman who runs the business of imitation jewelery in Pydhuni, had asked his employee Peersingh Deora to bring a week's cash collection of Rs 1.20 crore to the office. Peersingh conspired with his younger brother Yuvraj to commit the theft. After reaching the office, he kept the bag containing the money, but missing the actual cash, he left behind another trolley bag that looked exactly the same, filled with pieces of cardboard. When the businessman opened the bag, he was shocked. On Monday, when businessman Vikas Jain reached the office to deposit cash in the bank and opened the bag, he was shocked to see pieces of cardboard instead of a bundle of notes. Employee Peersingh was missing from the office and his phone was also switched off. Without any delay the businessman lodged a complaint with the Pydhuni police. Given the seriousness of the matter, prompt police action and huge recovery, Pydhuni police immediately formed teams. DCP R. Ragasudha confirmed that the police had laid a trap and arrested the accused's younger brother Yuvraj Deora (28). The police have made a record recovery of Rs 1.16 crore of the stolen money from him. Police have registered a case under section 316 (criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). Now the police is conducting raids in search of the main accused Peersingh Deora.
