New Delhi. Famous Bollywood director Kuku Kohli is no more in this world. He died at the age of 77 on August 25 at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. It was told that he breathed his last after a heart attack. Kuku Kohli gave many memorable films in his career and launched Ajay Devgan as an actor through Phool Aur Kaante. While there is a wave of mourning in the film industry after his demise, old things related to his personal life have once again come into discussion. Among these, the love story of him and veteran actress Aruna Irani is being discussed the most.
Kuku Kohli's first marriage was to Rita Kohli. From this marriage he had two daughters, Karishma and Pooja Kohli. After this, actress Aruna Irani entered his life. Both of them met during the shooting of a film. There was not much good bonding between the two in the initial phase. It is said that Aruna was angry with Kuku Kohli for arriving late on the set. Later Kuku started convincing him and during this time the closeness between the two kept increasing.
Aruna Irani had told in her old interview that when she met Kuku Kohli, she was not aware that he was married and had children. When the news of their relationship came out, Aruna had to face a lot of criticism. She was even referred to as the second woman who broke the house. Although Aruna Irani always rejected these allegations. He said that he had not entered into this relationship with the intention of breaking someone's house. According to him, situations in relationships often become such that the person observing from outside cannot fully understand them.
After the demise of Kuku Kohli's first wife, Aruna Irani started talking openly about her relationship. After this both of them got married. But there was a decision in this relationship which gave a different direction to Aruna Irani's life forever. After marriage she decided not to become a mother.
Aruna Irani herself had given two big reasons behind this. The first reason was the age difference between the two. She felt that if she became a mother at this age, the age gap between her and the child would be huge. They feared that this difference could cause problems for the child and them in the future.
The second reason was even more emotional. Aruna did not want her child to grow up and ask him such questions about his father to which he could not give clear answers. She was also worried that if the child ever needed his father at night, she would not be in a position to call him for help. Therefore, she decided that she would not let the confusion and troubles she herself had to face affect her child's life.
In this way, even though the love story of Aruna Irani and Kuku Kohli remained in controversies, Aruna took this very personal decision of her life after careful consideration. After the demise of Kuku Kohli, his story is once again in the headlines and it tells how many difficult and emotional decisions are hidden in the personal lives of the stars behind the shining world of Bollywood.
