There will be a siege of the Divisional Commissioner’s office in Lucknow on June 29 in protest against illegal occupation of government and farmers’ lands.

Nav Bharatiya Kisan Sangathan Parivar has called upon farmers, officials and workers from across the state to participate in the huge farmers’ demonstration to be organized in Lucknow on 29 June 2026. The organization says that in various districts of the state, cases of illegal occupation of government land and farmers’ lands by land mafia and fraudulent land sales are continuously increasing, but effective action is not being taken by the concerned revenue department and administrative officials.

According to the information released by the organization’s national president Nirmal Shukla, this issue was discussed in detail in the national convention and thinking camp organized in Haridwar. It was unanimously decided in the meeting that a state-wide mass movement would be launched to protect the land of farmers and to free government lands from land mafias.

In this sequence, it has been decided to surround the Divisional Commissioner’s office in Lucknow on 29th June. The organization has appealed to all the state officials, divisional presidents, district presidents and farmer friends of the state to reach Lucknow in large numbers and make the movement successful.

The organization alleges that in the name of selling plots to outsiders, some land mafias are illegally selling government lands by declaring them as private property. Due to this, not only government properties are being damaged but common citizens and farmers are also becoming victims of fraud. Farmers say that complaints were given to the concerned authorities several times, but till now the expected action has not been taken.

Farmer representatives from various districts of the state are likely to participate in this demonstration, which is being organized under the leadership of Lucknow District President Raju Rawat. The organization says that this movement is a campaign to protect the rights of farmers and create public awareness against land scams.

Nav Bharatiya Kisan Sangathan Parivar has appealed to all the farmer brothers to make the movement successful by reaching the designated place near Daliganj bridge in Lucknow on time on 29 June 2026. The organization believes that transparency and strict action in land related matters is necessary to protect the interests of farmers and the general public.

The organization has warned that if effective action is not taken against the land mafia, the movement will be expanded in future.
