There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thundershowers in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi. In many areas, strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour. There may be a drop in temperature due to rain in Punjab and Haryana. There are chances of cloudy sky and drizzle with strong winds in Delhi-NCR also. However, heat will persist in some parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat and heatwave-like conditions may be seen.

The weather will also be active in the states of Eastern and Central India on Monday. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim. Warnings of strong winds and lightning have also been issued at many places. There may be rain with strong thunderstorm in some areas in Jharkhand and Odisha. Thunderstorms and light to moderate rain are also expected in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Heavy rain alert has been issued in parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. There may be rain with strong winds in many areas of coastal Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
