Lucknow: Monsoon seems to be active once again in Uttar Pradesh. According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, rain may continue in many parts of the state for the next few days. This change in the weather is being seen due to the cyclonic circulation formed at the lower atmospheric level in eastern UP and the surrounding areas.
Along with the rain, there may be thunderstorms and heavy rain in some areas. In such a situation, people have been advised to keep an eye on the local alerts of the Meteorological Department.
Signs of heavy rain for several days in Eastern UP
The weather pattern for eastern Uttar Pradesh is going to remain active for the next several days. There is a possibility of rain in most parts between 17th and 23rd August. Apart from 17th August, very heavy rain may occur at some places on 20th and 21st August. At the same time, heavy rain is expected at many places during August 18-19 and August 22-23. During this time, people living near rivers, drains and low-lying areas will need to take special precautions.
Rain will increase in western UP also
Not only in eastern Uttar Pradesh, the weather is going to change in western parts also. There is a possibility of rain in many areas during August 17 and August 21-22. On August 18, there may be very heavy rain in some parts of Western UP. This can lead to problems like water logging on roads and affecting traffic.
