Bharatiya Janata Party announced the new team under the leadership of its national president Nitin Naveen. Many new names have been included in this list while many old faces have been shown the door. Big names like Dushyant Kumar Gautam, Amit Malviya, Arun Singh have been dropped from the BJP national team. Apart from this, this time a big responsibility has been given to Nitin Naveen's team by including such faces who had themselves lost their elections.
These names mainly include Smriti Irani, Harish Dwivedi and Anil Antony. Smriti Irani and Harish Dwivedi have been made National General Secretaries and Anil Antony has been made National Minister.

Smriti Irani had lost the election
Actually, Smriti Irani had contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh but she lost the election to Congress leader Kishori Lal Sharma. After this election defeat, Smriti Irani suddenly disappeared but now after two years, BJP has given her the responsibility by making her its National General Secretary.
Harish Dwivedi also lost
Harish Dwivedi was twice elected BJP MP from Basti district of UP but he lost the 2024 Lok Sabha elections to Samajwadi Party leader Ram Prasad Chaudhary. Despite losing the election, BJP, knowing the talent of Harish Dwivedi, made him in-charge of Assam. Under his leadership, BJP won the historic elections of Assam. Now the party has brought him to the centre.

Anil Antony lost from Congress
Anil Antony is the son of veteran Congress leader and former Defense Minister of the country AK Antony. Former Congress leader Anil Antony had contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Pathanamthitta seat in Kerala. But in his very first election as a BJP candidate, he lost to Congress's Anto Antony.
