Public sector Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced changes in the charges of CMS and NACH services. The new rules for NACH, UPI and Direct Debit Mandate Business Services are going to come into effect from August 1. Corporate will have to pay Rs 10 per transaction fee on mandate registration for Non Sponsor Mandate Best Debit Transactions (NACH Inward Debit – PNB customers) extended by NPCI, earlier this fee was Rs 5 per mandate. However, no changes have been made for PNB customers. Transaction charges for corporates have been increased from Rs 2.50 to Rs 2.70 per transaction.
The fee for NACH mandate registration for sponsored corporates has been reduced to Rs 10 per transaction, which was earlier Rs 50 per mandate. Transaction charges have been reduced from Rs 2 to Rs 0.70 per transaction.
New charges for Debit Direct Mandate
There has also been a change in the bank sponsored direct debit mandate charges for corporate customers. Mandate registration fee has been reduced from Rs 20 to Rs 10 per mandate. Whereas for PNB customers this fee will remain Rs 150. Transaction charges for corporates have been reduced from Rs 3 to Rs 0.70 per mandate. Transaction return charges reduced from Rs 20 per transaction to Rs 2 per return. \
New rules related to UPI mandate
The new fee for UPI Mandate Inward is also going to be implemented from August 1. For mandate registration, PNB customers will have to pay Rs 125 per mandate. For financial reasons, transaction return charges have been capped at Rs 250 per transaction. Earlier this was not determined, it was the responsibility of the bank.
