Bihar BJP President Sanjay Sarawagi, while talking to IANS, said, “Rahul Gandhi is going to visit Uttar Pradesh, while students are sitting on strike in Jharkhand. He should ask the Jharkhand Chief Minister to get the JPSC recruitment exam investigated by the CBI.”
Taking a dig at them, he said, “Congress is cooking its political bread under the guise of student movement. Even in Prayagraj, Congress is travelling for politics. Many papers were leaked, starting from AIIMS. Congress never made a law on paper leak during its tenure. This law was made by the BJP government.”
Bihar government minister Ram Kripal Yadav said, “Rahul Gandhi is not attending a students’ rally. He is attending the rally to gain power. His focus is on how to regain power. The Congress party itself has become unemployed. Since there are elections in Uttar Pradesh, this is a rally organised by the Congress party.”
He further said, “As far as the concerns of students are concerned, our governments are listening to them, whether it is the Yogi government or the Modi government. The government is working according to the echo. The problems of the students are being resolved. Also, the sentiments of the students and youth are being respected. The government is also ready to help them in every way.”
Meanwhile, Ram Kripal Yadav referred to the student agitation in Jharkhand and said, “The agitation by students in Jharkhand is serious and reflects the feeling of discontent among students, but the state government is not taking it seriously and will have to face serious consequences. I believe the government has not taken this issue seriously. The government is running with the support of other parties, including the Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, and the RJD. They should take this matter seriously and work towards solving the problems of the students.”
JDU MLA Shyam Rajak said that Congress has been against the youth from the beginning. Whether it was the youth movement in Punjab or the tribal movement in Chhattisgarh, Congress tried to crush them. Now, if they want to change the face of Congress, they will have to work along with atonement.
He said that the country’s youth do not trust the Congress. Recently, youth protested against current issues, and the government has taken initiatives toward solutions, but the Congress party cannot be expected to do the same.
