A lot of people want to buy an electric vehicle, but there are not many options when it comes to affordable EVs. So, solving this issue, recently, a Delhi NCR-based company, EV Sundak, has launched its affordable electric hatchback car. This four-door Nero electric car has been launched at an on-road price of Rs 6.51 lakh, and recently a detailed walkaround video of this EV has been shared online.
The video showing the EV Sundak Nero electric car has been shared on YouTube by Car Junction on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that today, people are buying bikes worth Rs 4 to 10 lakh, and at the same price, this company is offering an electric car. Following this, he then introduces the CFO of EV Sundak, who gives the detailed walkaround of this particular electric hatchback.
After the introduction, the first question which the vlogger asks the CFO is about the size of the battery pack offered in this particular vehicle. To this, he replies that the EV Sundak Nero comes offered with a 15 kWh battery pack. It provides a claimed range of 180 to 200 km. Soon after this, the presenter adds that this particular EV comes offered with the same Type 2 charger as all other major EVs in the market.
He explains that the EV Sundak Nero can be charged at any fast charging station, and it takes only 1.5 to 2 hours to charge this electric vehicle to 100 percent. As for the home charger which the company provides, it is the 7.4 kWh charger, which does not require any special earthing or installation. With this charger, it takes around 3 to 4 hours to fully charge this EV.
Following the detailed explanation of the specifications of the EV Sundak Nero electric car, the vlogger then shows the interior design. He highlights that this particular EV comes offered with a dual-tone interior, which gives the cabin an airy and upmarket feel. At the centre, it gets a 12.5-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, which also offers Bluetooth connectivity and navigation.
Additionally, it also comes with a reverse parking camera. The CFO highlights that the EV Sundak Nero also comes with a small digital instrument gauge cluster as well. Other notable highlights include an air conditioning system with a blower, a push-start/stop button, all four power windows, and a fixed moonroof. The vlogger states that the overall interior is well equipped.
Moving ahead in the video, the CFO of the company highlights that they are also offering another feature with the car. For this, he shows the rear end of the car, and with the push of a button on the key, the rear tailgate opens. He also adds that the vehicle comes with a rear folding seat, which helps in extending the boot space of the vehicle.
As for the exterior design, the vlogger mentions that the EV Sundak Nero comes equipped with connected LED DRLs and projector headlights at the front. Meanwhile, on the sides, it gets four doors and a set of alloy wheels. At the rear as well, it comes with LED taillights.
Finally, the vlogger asks the CFO about the pricing of this vehicle. To which he mentions that they are offering the EV Sundak Nero electric car at an on-road price of Rs 6.51 lakh. He explains that currently they are only offering this vehicle in the Delhi NCR region, and interested customers can buy and get the delivery within 7 to 15 days.
