Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a big statement on Sunday regarding the Ram Temple movement. Speaking at the inaugural program of the birth centenary year of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Ashok Singhal in Lucknow, he said that those who once opposed the Ram temple are now trying to call themselves Ram devotees. He compared such people to Ramayana character Kalnemi and appealed to Bajrang Dal workers to be cautious of such people.
CM Yogi said that it is important to identify those who are trying to defame the Ram Mandir movement. He claimed that such people can enter the movement and try to harm it. The Chief Minister also said that the success of the Ram Mandir movement is an ideological victory of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. A documentary on the life of Ashok Singhal was also shown in the programme.

Appeal to be cautious of those who enter like Kalanemi
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, 'Milind Parande (Organization General Secretary of VHP) has rightly said that those who once opposed the Ram temple are now trying to show themselves as devotees of Ram. This is an ideological victory of VHP. The Chief Minister said that the Bajrangis will have to be cautious as people like Kalnemi will intrude into Ram's work.
He said, 'It is important to identify these chroniclers, who will try to defame and insult the movement. You will not allow the conspiracies of these Babri devotees who entered in the guise of Kalnemi to succeed nor will you allow yourself to be humiliated.

Congress and SP also targeted
CM Yogi said that despite getting invitation for the foundation stone laying ceremony and consecration program of Ram temple, leaders of Congress and Samajwadi Party did not attend. According to him, these parties were worried about their vote bank. He sarcastically said that he was afraid that he might lose his 'net hat'. He gave this statement in the birth centenary program of Ashok Singhal.
The Chief Minister also accused the Congress of giving an affidavit in the Supreme Court regarding the existence of Lord Ram and Krishna. He also said that earlier Parikrama was banned in Ayodhya, whereas now a grand festival of lights is organized there. Through these statements he mentioned the changes that took place in Ayodhya.

Without naming anyone, the Chief Minister said that some people have come out to submit a memorandum demanding to declare the cow as the national animal. He said that cow is our mother and we have a relation with her from birth to birth.
