Sharing the video of CM Yogi's speech (now deleted), former CM Akhilesh wrote in his ex-post, “Whoever would have been BJP, would have created a ditch! The SP chief said, “If the sectarians do not talk about unity, then not only their name but their position will be saved. 'Hata Nahi Bhaata' is the very bitter truth of their malicious politics. Those who boast of their caste pride even while holding public office, will they do any good to anyone else? Those who are monochromatic, how can they talk about multi-coloured unity?”
In a social media post, he further said, “Put on goggles and go back! National unity is at risk when a person who believes in social discrimination is at the top of power.”

In the birth anniversary program of the first Home Minister of independent India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, CM Yogi attacked the forces dividing the society. He said that national unity is at risk when we are divided and weakened in the name of caste and region. When the body's immunity is exhausted, disease occurs. Casteism, regionalism, linguisticism are the same diseases which weaken the immunity of the society and then invite invaders to attack.

CM Yogi said that only the one who keeps India's unity and security paramount can be a follower of the Iron Man. The divisive people who consider Jinnah as an ideal and divide the society cannot be true followers of Vallabhbhai Patel.
