Three expensive bats have been stolen from his own 'Chahar Academy' ground in Shastripuram, Agra. These three stolen bats are of 'Player Edition' and their total market value is said to be around Rs 1.5 lakh. Cricketer Deepak Chahar himself gave information about the matter by sharing a video on social media. He has expressed grief and surprise at this theft through video. According to the information received, the players practice at the Chahar Academy located in Shastripuram, during which, taking advantage of the security lapse, thieves made away with these priceless bats. Being player edition, the quality and price of these bats is much higher than the normal bats, which are used only by professional players.
After receiving information about the incident, the local police and academy management started investigating the matter. CCTV footage in and around the academy premises is being scrutinized so that the thieves can be identified and these expensive bats can be recovered as soon as possible.
