Hyderabad, 13 September 2026: A tragic road accident took place in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. Three people were killed in a horrific collision between a lorry and an auto-rickshaw in Shikhar Ganj area of the district. Police had given details regarding this incident.
Giving details about the incident, Bobbilina Superintendent of Police (DySP) R. Govinda Rao said that this accident happened early on Sunday morning at around 4:45 am.
According to news agency PTI, three people have died in a head-on collision between a lorry and an auto-rickshaw at Shikharganj in Vizianagaram district early this morning.

DSPA further said that the lorry was going towards Vizianagaram, while the auto-rickshaw was coming from the opposite direction. This tragic accident was caused by a massive head-on collision between these two vehicles.
As soon as information about the accident was received, the police team reached the spot. Police officials had said that a case will be registered regarding this incident and further legal action is being taken.
