All three pilots of British Airways flight (BA276) going from Hyderabad to London fell ill midway. It is being told that the three pilots had breakfast during their stay in a hotel in Hyderabad, after which the health of the three pilots deteriorated.
All three pilots became victims of food poisoning. British Airways has started an investigation into the pilots falling ill. The airline is reviewing its hotel arrangements in Hyderabad as part of the investigation, while officials try to determine what caused the suspected food poisoning.
Oxygen had to be given at a height of 30,000 feet
According to Gulf News, the condition of a pilot on a flight from Hyderabad to London became so bad at an altitude of 30,000 feet that he had to be given oxygen in the plane itself. However, the other two pilots managed a safe landing despite experiencing symptoms of food poisoning.

Regarding this incident, British Airways said that the safety of passengers was never compromised. The welfare of our colleagues is our top priority, and following some sporadic reports of illness we are reviewing crew accommodation at this location.
Initial reports suggest that before the flight the three pilots had breakfast at a hotel in Hyderabad and also drank bottled water provided by an outside company.
After the incident, all three pilots lodged air safety reports and have been asked to provide samples to find out the cause of their illness.
